Work complete: Road reopens after water main break causes outage, detour in Mandarin area

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Work has been completed and the road has reopened after a water main break at Hood Landing Boulevard and Mandrake Woods Court led to a water outage for 96 customers on Wednesday night, according to JEA.
JEA crews were still on-site around 10 a.m. Thursday working to fix the groundwater impact and focus on safe repair. JEA said around 4:30 p.m. that water had been restored to the majority of our customers in Hood Landing.
On Friday morning, JEA said all the work had been completed and the road had reopened.
