Man sentenced to 30 years in prison for sexual battery on a juvenile in Flagler County

FLAGLER COUNTY, Fla. – A 28-year-old man was sentenced to 30 years in prison for sexually battering a juvenile multiple times over several years in Flagler County.
In Sept. 2023, hospital staff from Advent Health in Palm Coast called the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office to report a possible sex offense involving a juvenile.
Investigators said Jessy Kalani Andrew Gilbreath had been sexually abusing the victim since they were between four and six years old.
Jessy Gilbreath (Copyright 2024 by WJXT News4JAX - All rights reserved.) Gilbreath was arrested on Oct. 24, 2023, on six counts of sexual battery on a minor and pled guilty to the counts almost a year later on Oct. 21.
Gilbreath will be required to register as a sexual predator when he is released.
