Sheriff T.K. Waters said in the past that the sheriff’s office takes every threat seriously to ensure the student and staff safety.
“Do not under any circumstance, in any school charter school, online make a threat to shoot up our school. We’re not going to sit back and allow you to make that threat,” Waters said at a news conference in September.
JSO said four arrests were made over this past week. Of the 37, JSO made 23 arrests and the Duval County School Police Department arrested 15 students.
JSO released a censored video of three of the arrests.
