Jacksonville youth crime organization partners with JSO to give out at least 350 turkeys on the Eastside
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office partnered with a youth crime prevention organization to give out at least 350 turkeys on Saturday.
Rodney Blunt is with the organization City Streets 2 Student Athletes. He said this is the fifth year that they’ve given out turkeys.
“We want to take productive students and make them productive student-athletes and keep them away from drugs,” Blunt said.
The organization partnered with JSO’s Police Athletic League location on the Eastside to hand out at least 350 turkeys.

We want to greet the people that come get a turkey with a smile and wish them Happy Thanksgiving.”
