Clay County residents can place Christmas trees on curbs for disposal

CLAY COUNTY, Fla. – Now that Christmas is over, it’s time to take down the ornaments, lights, and decorations and dispose of the tree. Christmas tree removal is now taking place throughout Clay County.

According to a Clay County text, “If you receive your garbage collection service from the County and you need to get rid of your live Christmas tree, you can put it curbside on your normal yard waste pickup day and FCC Environmental Services will remove it.”

Please remember to remove all ornaments, lights, and other decorations before disposing of the tree.

Important note: Artificial trees are not accepted in the yard pickup.
