12 couples say ‘I do’ at Valentine’s Day group wedding in St. Augustine

ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. – Twelve couples tied the knot Friday during a group wedding Valentine’s Day event in downtown St. Augustine.

The couples got married during a group ceremony at The Carriage House.

One of the couples who got married on Friday met at a YMCA gym program for cancer survivors. They became fishing buddies who later fell in love.

Another couple who got married during the group ceremony met during a humanitarian mission in the Philippines. The dual-military Navy couple said they wanted to seal the deal with their spouse during the special event, according to a news release.

The ceremony was officiated by the Honorable Judge Howard O. McGillin, Jr.
