St. Johns County man wins $1 million a year for life from scratch-off game

ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. – A St. Johns County man claimed a $1 million prize from the $1 million A Year for Life Spectacular Scratch-Off game on Wednesday.

He chose to receive his winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $640,000.

The man bought his winning ticket from Publix located at 5415 North Oceanshore Boulevard in Palm Coast. The store received a $2,000 bonus commission for selling the ticket.

The $50 scratch-off game features two top prizes of $1 million a year for life and 234 prizes of $1 million.

The game’s overall odds of winning are 1-in-450.
