Fernandina Beach pirates: Sailing through history and giving back to the community
FERNANDINA BEACH, Fla. – There are pirates in Fernandina Beach! And there have been for hundreds of years.

Thanks to the island’s natural deep-water port, the area became a haven for the swashbucklers of the sea.
But the pirates on the island today say they are more interested in giving away their treasure than burying it.
