JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A man was arrested in connection with a crash that killed a 9-month-old and injured three others in 2023.
The Florida Highway Patrol in Jacksonville said Lenford Killings was accused of driving drunk at 100 miles per hour on Merrill Road near Interstate 295 on December 10, 2023.
Killings crashed into a guardrail, ran into a tree before the vehicle overturned, the report said.
FHP said 9-month-old Kylen Killings, who was not restrained, died in the crash. An adult and two other children were also hospitalized.
Killings faces multiple charges, including aggravated manslaughter of a child.
