Man riding scooter in Clay County seriously injured in crash with school bus No kids were injured

CLAY COUNTY, Fla. – A man riding a scooter was seriously injured in a crash involving a school bus Thursday morning on Blanding Boulevard, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
Clay County deputies said they were called to the scene of the crash involving a school bus and an unidentified adult on a scooter around 8 a.m. at the intersection of Blanding Blvd. and Foxridge Road.
According to the FHP report, the 30-year-old man was crossing Foxridge Road on a scooter in the marked crosswalk when the school bus attempted a right turn onto the road and hit the man.
He was taken to the hospital in serious condition, FHP said.
There were eight students on the bus, and no one was injured.
