CLAY COUNTY, Fla. – A man died in an early Sunday morning crash on State Road 21 in Clay County.
Around 4:30 a.m., the 34-year-old SUV driver veered across the centerline on SR-21 near Santa Clara Avenue into the path of a pickup truck traveling south in the opposite lane, the Florida Highway Patrol said.

The SUV collided with the 29-year-old driver’s pickup truck on the left side, causing the truck to overturn.
It’s unclear what caused the driver to veer out of the lane.
The 34-year-old driver died from his injuries. The report said the other driver was uninjured.
