Clay County Fire Rescue working on fatal house fire in Lake Asbury area, another person taken to hospital
CLAY COUNTY, Fla. – Clay County Fire Rescue said on Friday that it is working on a fatal house fire in the Lake Asbury area.
Officials said the fire is out, but units will be on scene for the next few hours.
Clay County Sheriff's Office is investigating a fatal fire that also injured another person. (Copyright 2025 by WJXT News4JAX - All rights reserved.) Clay County Sheriff’s Office said it is investigating the accidental death and another person was taken to a hospital with critical injuries. The State Fire Marshall is on scene.
