Man found shot to death inside home in Northwest Jacksonville; multiple people detained, JSO says

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A man was found shot to death inside a home early Monday in Northwest Jacksonville, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office.

Around 2:30 a.m., police responded to a report of a shooting inside a home on Boilard Drive, near New Kings Road.

When officers arrived, they found a man in his mid 20s suffering from at least one gunshot wound.

He died at the scene, JSO said.

Police said they are still investigating what led to the shooting and the relationship of those involved.

Multiple people were detained for questioning, JSO said.
