JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – As frigid temperatures push through Northeast Florida and Southeast Georgia, JEA reports no water outages on its system as of Sunday morning, despite receiving calls from customers reporting water loss.

The overnight freeze warning may have frozen customers’ pipes or water lines, stopping water from flowing into homes, JEA said.
As temperatures rise throughout the day, JEA said service should return if the issue is a frozen line and not due to broken pipes.
If you have a cracked or burst pipe, JEA suggests you shut off the water supply from the main shutoff valve and contact a licensed plumber.
If you are unable to locate your main shutoff valve, you can call JEA at 904-665-6000 for assistance.
JEA says it will continue monitoring conditions and is on standby to respond to incidents.
