Lanes reopen on I-295 North near Pritchard Road after vehicle fire

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Emergency crews were on the scene of a vehicle fire on I-295 North on the city’s Westside Tuesday afternoon.

As of 3:20 p.m., all northbound lanes were blocked between US-1 and Pritchard Road.

All lanes reopened around 5 p.m., but crews later closed the right lane again, causing backups.

Traffic was flowing smoothly by 6:20 p.m.
