The St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office said detectives arrested a Jacksonville woman after an investigation into theft from an elderly patient in her care.
Detectives say the victim reported a large sum missing from her bank account in January 2025. Investigators determined a fraudulent credit card account was opened in February 2024 using the victim’s personal information, and they said the account was linked to the suspect’s business.
