25-year-old woman crossing 103rd Street killed in hit-and-run; driver possibly identified: FHP
Pedestrian killed in crash on 103rd Street near Kinkaid Road (WJXT)
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A 25-year-old woman died Monday night after she was hit by a car while crossing 103rd Street near Kinkaid Road, the Florida Highway Patrol said.
Troopers said a green 2010 Chevrolet Camaro traveling westbound hit the woman around 7:30 p.m. when she crossed in front of the vehicle.
The driver of the Camaro sped away down 103rd, and the woman died at the scene, FHP said.
The report says “a possible suspect and vehicle” had been located, and lists the driver of the Camaro as a 68-year-old man from Jacksonville.
FHP asks anyone with information about the crash to call *FHP from their mobile phone.
