Large police presence in Palatka as death investigation underway

PALATKA, Fla. – Several police officers responded to a death investigation on Husson Avenue in Palatka on Wednesday.
Around 4:30 p.m., the Palatka Police Department notified the community of a large police presence as the investigation was underway.
Details are limited, and the circumstances are unclear at this time.
Police have a suspect in custody, and said that there was no threat to the community.
