Brunswick police investigating weekend shootings

The incidents are related, according to police

BRUNSWICK, Ga. – Brunswick police are investigating two related shooting incidents that damaged multiple vehicles and a building but caused no reported injuries, according to the Brunswick police department.

Officers said they responded Sunday, March 22, 2026, about 2 p.m. to the Brooklyn Homes North complex on Stonewall Street after receiving a shots-fired call.

At the complex, officers said they found several damaged vehicles and structural damage to a building. While on scene, a citizen reported a second shots-fired incident near Cleburne Street that investigators believe is connected.

Through witness statements and surveillance footage, investigators said they identified two possible suspect vehicles: a white Ford Escape with passenger-side damage and a dark-colored Buick LaCrosse.

Officers located shell casings and additional damaged vehicles at the second scene. One suspected vehicle was found parked on N Street. Later that day, the white Ford Escape was located on Atlantic Avenue. Both vehicles were recovered and towed for processing.

No arrests have been made. Investigators have identified persons of interest and are actively working to locate them. The investigation remains ongoing.
