Jacksonville’s risk for wildfires remains high amid the ongoing extreme drought.
The combination of dry ground -- over 25 inches in our rainfall deficit in some areas -- and gusty winds has increased fire danger.
The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office was not reporting any lane closures in the area, as of 1:15 p.m.
