Police said some of the injuries were not readily visible at the time due to the woman’s clothing and the presence of dirt and debris on her body.

Officials said the woman was visiting a family member who had been babysitting a young child at the home. Family members returned to the property and found the woman in the yard with the child nearby. The child was not injured.
