1 taken to hospital after reported shooting at Riverview Apartments on Jacksonville’s Southside

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Police and crime scene tape were seen early Wednesday morning at the Riverview Apartments on Jacksonville’s Southside.
The apartments on Caravan Circle are in the Holiday Hill neighborhood, near Atlantic and Southside boulevards.
News4JAX has a crew at the scene, and we’re working to learn more.
Police were initially called to the apartments because of a report of a person being shot.
News4JAX spotted multiple bullet holes in the window of one of the units.
Jacksonville Fire and Rescue confirmed that one adult was taken to a hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening, but could not say how the person was hurt.
