1 shot in Butler Beach road rage incident; another person in custody
The St. Johns County Sheriff's Office is investigating a shooting on Palmetto Road and A1A South. (St. Johns County Sheriff's Office)
ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. – One person was shot on Tuesday in a road rage incident that happened in Butler Beach, according to the St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office.
The scene is located on Palmetto Road and A1A South.
The Sheriff’s Office says there are no outstanding suspects. One person has been detained.
The man who was shot was airlifted to a local trauma center with serious injuries.
Deputies have blocked Palmetto Road just off A1A South and are asking people to avoid the area at this time.
