JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A man was caught on surveillance video Thursday afternoon picking up a woman and carrying her to a white vehicle in broad daylight on Blanding Boulevard, prompting the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office to seek the public’s help in ensuring her safety.
On Thursday afternoon, surveillance video from a nearby business at Blanding Boulevard and 118th Street captured a man, believed to be in his 20s, arguing with a woman in what JSO called a “suspicious incident.”

JSO said the woman walked away from the man. The video showed him pick her up and carry her to a white vehicle in broad daylight. The woman could also be heard screaming.
The sheriff’s office is working to identify the man and woman to ensure she is safe.
JSO said the man had small twists in his hair and was wearing a light-colored shirt with black pants. The woman was wearing a gray hoodie with black pants.
