JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – As I continue to document my cancer journey, I hope to answer questions that those of you battling cancer might have, and your loved ones as well.
My personal cancer fight took an unexpected turn when I couldn’t get the test I needed to pinpoint the source of my cancer and to track its spread.
The insurance company blocked pre-approval for the procedure.
It’s a problem all too common when these insurance companies think they know better than the doctor and deem important tests “not a medical necessity.”
