JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A Jacksonville mother and her two young daughters — who the girls’ father shot on the city’s northside — have been identified after family members launched a GoFundMe to support the family during this difficult time.
On Tuesday, officers responded to a home on Traci Lynn Drive and found a 27-year-old woman and her two young girls suffering gunshot wounds.

The GoFundMe identified the 27-year-old mother as Brianna Johnson. Her 4-year-old daughter Harmoni Reed died from her injuries, and her 2-year-old was identified as Rhythm Reed.
Investigators said they learned that Trudale Reed, the girls’ father, was arguing outside the home with the girls’ mother and then fired multiple rounds, hitting her and their two daughters before driving off in a stolen SUV.
According to GoFundMe, Johnson and her daughter Rhythm were still in life-threatening condition.
“As Brianna focuses on healing and caring for herself and Rhythm while navigating this unimaginable loss, any support, prayers, or shares are deeply appreciated. Thank you for keeping our family in your thoughts and for the overwhelming love, compassion, and support you have shown during this incredibly difficult time,” the GoFundMe read.
