International Delta flight diverted to JIA after severe turbulence; 2 transported with non-life-threatening injuries

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – An international Delta flight coming from the Bahamas landed at JIA after experiencing severe turbulence, and two people were taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to officials.

Jacksonville Fire and Rescue responded to the scene and JIA said that there were 68 people on the plane.
