JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office Vice Unit arrested four women at local massage businesses over two days in mid-July as part of an undercover prostitution operation targeting multiple locations across the city.
The arrests took place July 15–16, 2026, at spas in Jacksonville and Atlantic Beach. All four women were booked into the Pretrial Detention Facility and each faces a second-degree misdemeanor charge of offering, committing or engaging in prostitution.

How the stings unfolded
In each case, the JSO Homeland Security Division’s undercover detectives entered the businesses, paid for a 30-minute massage and were led to a private room. According to arrest reports, sexual conversations ensued during the massages. Once a predetermined takedown phrase was given, officers moved in and took the suspects into custody.
Body-worn camera footage was recorded in all four cases, according to arrest reports.
July 15 arrests: Beach Blvd., Atlantic Blvd.
The first two arrests occurred Wednesday, July 15. A 49-year-old woman, listed as an employee of Spa 27, was arrested at approximately noon at the business on Beach Blvd. An undercover detective paid $60 for a 30-minute massage before she was taken into custody, according to her arrest report.
Later that morning, a 53-year-old woman was arrested at Serenity Spa in Atlantic Beach. An undercover detective paid $60 for a 30-minute massage before the arrest at 9:31 a.m. The arrest report notes that during a separate human trafficking interview, the woman spontaneously made statements to officers.
July 16 arrests: Barnes Rd., University Blvd.
The operation continued Thursday, July 16, with two more arrests. A 51-year-old woman, listed in the arrest report as the owner of Golden Spa, was arrested at approximately 9:08 a.m. at the business on Barnes Rd. An undercover detective paid $60 for a 30-minute massage before she was booked into the Pretrial Detention Facility.
A fourth arrest came later that morning when a 60-year-old woman was taken into custody at nAgel & Spa Massage on University Blvd. S. An undercover detective paid $70 for a 30-minute massage. The arrest report notes that the woman initiated the sexual conversation during the massage.
