ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. – Nearly a year and a half after announcing the development, real estate developer Thompson Thrift opened Velara, a multifamily apartment community in Nocatee, the Jacksonville Daily Record reported.
According to the Jacksonville Daily Record, a ribbon-cutting ceremony was held on Tuesday at the property located on Burbank Avenue.

The community boasts nine three-story buildings, with one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments across 312 units, with rents ranging from $1,545 to $2,496.
According to Thompson Thrift, amenities include a heated pool with a nearby fire pit, covered pool-deck patio, private golf cart garages, pickleball court, fitness center, a pet spa and a dog park.
