Deadly shooting reported at Lem Turner Road apartment complex (WJXT)
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A 26-year-old man was killed early Thursday morning in a shooting at an apartment complex on Jacksonville’s Northside, according to police.
The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office said someone called 911 just before 3 a.m. to report a shooting at The Place at Capper Landing apartments on Lem Turner Road, about a half-mile north of Broward Road.

When officers got to the complex, they found the man shot in a breezeway. He died at the scene.
JSO said this appears to be an isolated incident and several people have been detained in the investigation, including the possible shooter.
