Seven westside residents displaced in apartment fire

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – News4Jax is investigating an apartment complex fire on Jacksonville’s Westside.

So far we’ve been able to confirm seven adults and one pet are displaced following the fire. Fortunately, no injuries have been reported in the fire.

Initial reports say it was only one building at the complex near the intersection of Firestone Road and Wheat Road.

Crews say the fire is contained.
