Funeral services set for longtime Potter’s House leader killed in crash on way to Sunday service

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Potter’s House International Ministries announced the funeral services for Elder Samuel Coleman, a longtime leader and staple of the church who died in a car crash on the way to Sunday service.

The church said that all are invited to a special Reflective Service on Wednesday at 7 p.m. and Saturday, Aug. 8, at 1 p.m. for his Homegoing Celebration, with the viewing beginning at noon.

Flowers and acknowledgements can be sent to Hardage-Giddens Riverside Memorial Park & Funeral Home at 7242 Normandy Boulevard, Jacksonville, FL 32205.

Wednesday’s reflective service will be streamed live on the church’s YouTube channel.

“Together, we will remember, praise, worship, and celebrate a life well lived,” the church said on its Facebook page. “Please continue to keep the Coleman family in your love and prayers.”
