WATCH LIVE: Clay County Sheriff’s Office holding press conference on kidnapping and burglary suspect

CLAY COUNTY, Fla. – The Clay County Sheriff’s Office announced it will be holding a press conference Tuesday afternoon regarding the arrest of a kidnapping, attempted sexual battery and burglary suspect.

No other details about the suspect have been released.

The Clay County Sheriff’s Office originally mentioned a home invasion charge but later clarified to say it was a burglary to an occupied residence.

Clay County Sheriff Michelle Cooks says she will explain why a local school was put on hold status this morning.

The news conference is scheduled to begin at 5 p.m.
