According to the original police report filed in June 2017, someone left an anonymous tip with the Department of Children and Families that Milonas had sexually abused a girl. The tip was called in to the Florida Abuse Hotline, and claimed that Milonas raped the girl repeatedly every day before school between 2011 and 2012, the report said.

He had also molested her on at least one other occasion, and then took the girl to get toys, according to the police report.

Milonas was taken into custody Tuesday afternoon.

A check of court records show he was arrested in 1988 on a misdemeanor assault charge, but adjudication was withheld.
