Santa arriving at the Avenues Mall

Santa will arrive at the Avenues Mall at 6 p.m. Friday and families are invited to celebrate the start of the holiday season with him.
Santa will be posing for pictures and listening to Christmas wishes Friday evening through Christmas Eve.
Friday's event activities include:
Fireworks
Live performances from Tone Revival and Julington Creek Elementary
Interactive games
Snow
Bounce houses
Face painting
Bike contest
Holiday goodies (*Simon Kidgits Club members only)
This year, the Jacksonville Humane Society will also be on site to collect dog and cat food and dog and cat treats.
The event runs Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. in the parking lot of the mall outside of Ruby Tuesdays.
