Putnam deputies ask for help with unsolved murder

SAN MATEO, Fla. – The Putnam County Sheriff's Office is asking for help from anyone who could help with with an unsolved murder of a popular Little League in the San Mateo in January.

Thomas Joseph Wall, 34, was found dead by deputies on Jan. 18 at 222 Landmark Avenue, just off State Road 17.

Thomas Wall was a family man who left behind a wife and two small children. He was well thought of in the community and was a caring baseball coach.

All available leads and many tips received in the case, but they still have not identified a suspect.

Anyone with information is asked to call Detective Nicole Thomas with the Putnam County Sheriff's Office at 386-329-0831 or Crime Stoppers at 888-277-8477. Callers may remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward.  Anyone providing information that leads to an arrest and conviction may be eligible for a reward of up to $5,000.
