VILANO BEACH, Fla. – A fire destroyed a home overnight in the Porpoise Point area of Vilano Beach in St. Johns County.
The house on Zamora Street partially collapsed as firefighters battled the blaze, St. Johns County Fire Rescue PIO Chris Naff said.

No firefighters were hurt, and the three occupants in the home were also safe, although the home is a total loss, SJCFR said.
The St. Augustine Fire Department told News4JAX that crews responded to the call, which came in around 4:31 a.m. Tuesday.
Both St. Johns County Fire Rescue and St. Augustine Fire crews were at the scene and had the fire under control before 7 a.m.
At one point, the blaze was so hot that it damaged the outside of neighboring homes, which had to be evacuated.
The State Fire Marshal has been called in to investigate the cause of the fire.
