Political scientist weighs in on big questions for Senate battle after Michigan primary
By winning the Michigan primary, political analysts say Abdul El-Sayed gained serious momentum.
But big questions remain.
Can that momentum be maintained for the next three months heading into the general election in November? Can El-Sayed distance himself from socialists while welcoming their support?
The answer is crucial because control of the Senate is hanging in the balance.
Peter Trumbore, chair of the Department of Political Science at Oakland University, joined us on The Morning Show to sort out the answers to those questions and more.
