JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Police are looking for whoever killed 34-year-old whose body was found lying in a street early Friday morning near the  Normandy Athletic Association.

Neighbors said drug dealing is an ongoing issue in this area. One man who owns several apartments across the street from the crime scene said his tenants have been concerned about the problem and that he had been in contact with police about it.

"Typically JSO will step up their presence when they're made aware of it," Henry Cruvat said. "It slows down at that point. Then when the presence drops off, it starts to pick up again."

Police said Friday they were looking for any surveillance footage that could show activity in the area overnight. They also ask the public for help finding out what happened. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 866-845-TIPS.
