Registration for Florida Sheriff's Youth Ranches Summer Camp begins Camp runs June 11-16 for children ages 10-15 No description found
FLAGLER COUNTY, Fla. – Open registration began Wednesday for the summer session of the Florida Sheriff’s Youth Ranches Summer Camp, June 11-16, for children ages 10-15.
The week of camping and citizen development is provided free of charge.
The camp is located at 1170 Youth Camp Lane, Barberville, Florida. It’s about 30 minutes west of Ormond Beach in Volusia County. The camp is an opportunity for children to interact with members of law enforcement and strengthen relationships within the community.
“This is a very positive program that allows law enforcement officers to interact with our youth in a safe atmosphere,” Sheriff Rick Staly said. “I do encourage you to apply early as the vacancies are filled quickly.”
Parents can register online or get additional information at www.youthranches.org , or call any school resource deputy.
