ORANGE PARK, Fla. – An Orange Park Planet Fitness got into the spirit of giving by making a big donation to improve a local teen’s health and wellness.
The fitness center gifted a 14-year-old teen with Rett’s syndrome — who frequents the gym with her mother — her very own Wellness Pod to enjoy in the privacy and comfort of her own home.

The girl’s mother, Brandi Archuleta, expressed her gratitude to the gym.
“I am still emotional and break into tears knowing that complete strangers are moved by my daughter, our story and are doing this for her,” Archuleta said.
RelaxSpace, the creator of the Wellness Pod that was gifted to Archuleta’s daughter, described the machine as a way to “reduce stress, promote relaxation, enhance muscle memory, and more.” The system targets the senses to create a calming environment.
Before this gift, the teen would use the massage chairs to relax. Now, she can “come alive” at the fitness club.
