River City Beats with Darrel Rae

Singer/ Songwriter from Jacksonville FL, Darrell was introduced to his love for music at the age of 9 years old as a drummer and singer at his hometown church while following in the footsteps of his father and great grandfather who both had a love for making southern gospel music. He grew up in an All-American family where he was blessed with parents who supported him through all of his crazy dreams whether it was sports, music or even if he wanted to go to the moon they would’ve been there to encourage him. After highschool DR went back to his roots working full time at his mom and dad’s fence company while at night playing music all around North Florida as a solo acoustic act searching for his sound and finding inspiration from artists such as Alan Jackson, Tim McGraw, Jason Aldean Etc.. Now several years later Darrell has released a Debut EP titled “90 Proof” that hit all online music stores in early 2017 shortly after opening for major artists Kelly Pickler and Sarah Evans as a performer two years in a row for Florida’s largest country music festival “The Suwannee River Jam”.
