Kirk is a self proclaimed “Grandpa-Music generator”, but he’s not content simply recreating the sounds of a by-gone era. Growing up in south Georgia to musical grandparents, twangy country and Appalachian folk became part of his DNA at an early age, but he also fell in love with the sounds of 70′s punk, garage rock, and synthpop.

“It’s all part of the stew” as Kirk would put it. Whether he’s fingerpicking guitar through a honky-tonk inspired original, playing an appalachian ballad on banjo, or covering a David Bowie song, it all sounds old….and new simultaneously.
