Pet Blessings and Adoptions: A Pawsitive Day at St. John’s Cathedral on Sunday, Oct. 6

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The St. John’s Cathedral, in collaboration with The London Sanctuary, St. Augustine Humane, Fur Sisters, and Posh Pet Services, invites the public to a heartwarming event featuring pet blessings, adoptions, and pet photos.

Pets will receive individual blessings during a special Holy Eucharist in Cathedral Park, followed by opportunities to meet adoptable dogs from local rescue organizations.

Event Details:

• Pet Blessings: During the Holy Eucharist, pets will be blessed in Cathedral Park.
• Pet Adoptions: Attendees can meet adoptable dogs and consider giving one a forever home.
• Pet Photos: A photo booth will be available to capture special moments with pets thanks to Posh Pet Services
• Lite Bites: Treats will be provided for both humans and pets.

Schedule:

• 9:00 AM: A short service followed by pet blessings.
• Post-service: Meet-and-greet with adoptable dogs and refreshments.

Parking: The lot at the corner of Church and Market Streets offers convenient parking.
