Jacksonville – Myah Freeman is a visual artist born and raised here in Jacksonville, Florida. She established her art business, MyahnArt LLC, in 2015, providing creative services and products to her community and beyond. Her work involves murals, commercial art, live painting performances, portraits, paint classes, and more. Much of her personal work highlights the importance of having strong families within the African American community. Freeman is ever-evolving as an artist as she takes on new challenges and ventures.
Freeman will be hosting her very first solo art show, “Nostalgia,” where she presents a new body of work exploring the importance of family anchors, strength, and restoration inspired by a series of nostalgic family photos. Taking place immediately after, she will celebrate the opening with her second installment of “FreeStyle,” an all-inclusive paint party experience: Art, Wine, Beats, and Eats!
