Nassau County – Dreamsicle was found in the wheel of a bus – likely abandoned by his mother as he has one eye that didn’t fully form, an enlarged heart, and another eye that needs surgery. He was hanging on by a thread when he was first brought in in mid-May.
He is now healthy, about 3 months old and getting ready to have one of his eyes removed and the other one treated. So he’ll be ready for adoption!
Saturday, Nassau Humane hosts a special adoption day at their dog park. Open day for dogs to come, free adoptions, a pop up shop from The Closet Boutique and...cookie and ice crream to try to beat back some of the heat! www.nassauhumane.org
