Erin’s Hope for Friends is a nonprofit dedicated to ending isolation and building lasting friendships for teens and young adults on the autism spectrum. Founded in memory of Erin Horst, whose life was tragically cut short by suicide after enduring severe bullying. With the sobering reality that 1 in 10 people on the spectrum will consider or attempt suicide, Erin’s Hope works passionately to create connections that can be life-saving. Through community support, special events like our Gala, expansion into new regions, the nonprofit is changing the conversation from loneliness to belonging.
