Jacksonville – The annual Jacksonville Congenital Heart Walk event for the Children’s Heart Foundation will be held on Sunday, October 19, 2025 at 1:00pm. This event will take place at the Northbank Riverwalk Artist Square (the same location as the Riverside Arts Market).
The Children’s Heart Foundation is a nationwide organization that hosts a walk series focusing on fundraising and awareness for only the most promising research related to congenital heart defects (CHDs). Nearly 1 in 110 babies are born with a congenital heart defect, making CHDs the most common birth defect, but CHD research remains grossly underfunded. With the research funds raised during this walk series, the hope is to improve long-term outcomes, longevity, and the quality of life for countless children & adults living with congenital heart defects.
The Jacksonville Congenital Heart Walk is a fun, family-friendly event that includes a one-mile stroll along the beautiful Jacksonville riverwalk! Participants will be able to take part in various kids’ activities presented by the UF Dream Team, snap a photo with costumed characters, and enjoy some refreshments, as we join together for a meaningful walk to raise awareness and funding for life-changing congenital heart defect research.
