Arlington Mod & More Home Tour 2025

Jacksonville’s Grooviest Home Tour

Jacksonville – In its 9th year, the Arlington Mod & More Home Tour is bigger than ever. Guests will have the opportunity to tour eight homes from quirky to fabulous, quaint beauties to riverfront estates, while they experience Arlington’s unique neighborhoods. This year’s tour includes a unique bonus: tour goers can venture into a real 1950s fallout shelter. Plus, cool classic cars of the era will be displayed at several homes.

One of the 2025 homes was named a “Five Star Home” and highlighted in the July 1957 issue of Better Homes & Gardens magazine. The architect, E.G. Hamilton, won a Texas Society of Architects Design Award for the home design. In addition, the tour will feature not one, but two butterfly houses designed by famed local architect, the Late Robert Broward. Additionally, the tour includes a historic 1800s home as well as a new construction, modern beauty.

The Arlington Mod & More Home Tour is on Saturday, October 11, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday, October 12, from noon to 4 p.m. Tickets are $25 (fees additional). Children under 12 are free. Get tickets today at www.oldarlington.org

Check in and pick up the Home Tour Guide with addresses and description of each home at Historic Norman Studios 6337 Arlington Road, Jacksonville, FL 32211. A tour of this National Historic Landmark is included with your ticket purchase. This five-building complex is the sole studio remnant of Jacksonville’s heyday as the Winter Film Capital of the World.

Presented by the Northeast Florida Association of Realtors, all proceeds from the event benefit Old Arlington, Inc., the nonprofit organization committed to the historic preservation and revitalization of Arlington. Additional sponsors include Terra Wise
