Waynesville, GA – Maverick (Mav or Mavy Mav for some) is a hunk of chunky love! He has never met a stranger, likes kids, gets along with most dogs, and is just a good boy that loves attention. He’s smart, kind, and a bit goofy, but this big boy just wants to be a couch potato in the AC.
He came to South Georgia Equine Rescue from Burke County Animal Services 1/5/2024 with another dog (Goose was adopted 10/2025). They had been neglected and dumped, but needed help, so SGER stepped in.
As of 1/5/2026, Maverick has been with them 731 days without a single application. That’s right, 2 years without a single inquiry or adoption application for this wonderful boy. www.sger.petfinder.com
